Exercise not only helps reduce stress, but it can also help you deal with stress long-term. Furthermore, people who exercise regularly suffer less from stress and have less stress-related illness than those who do not exercise regularly.

Eating decently and working out regularly has a ton of benefits, but I think the most relevant for folks here is that I genuinely believe it takes any mental health issues down a few notches. As in, if you're an 8/10 in anxiety, it will take you down to a 5/10. etc.
This can make a world of difference in being able to manage it, and in quality of life. But I would not expect to see a difference unless you stay consistent with it for a while.
