Dr. Oz Show about Diet

Postby angel45 » Fri Feb 21, 2014 8:30 pm

This year has already been a year of significant change. As I move forward I intend on creating even more change in my life, and this includes finally conquering the weight loss and exercise demon (which I swear I will do every January). I have already begun to make significant changes in my diet, as well as my exercise routine, and I am excited for the weather to break in order to make outside activities even easier (these snow storms have been murder on outdoor activities). Any how, I have already noticed a significant change in my energy levels and overall emotional state and I want to share it with you.

This forum has been so helpful to me, I can't even begin to tell you how much so but please know that some of your stories have inspired me to do better and get well both physically and emotionally. In all honesty, I have been able to read some of your stories and relate to them in a way that I cannot do with friends or family. The truth is, perhaps I just don't have enough faith in them and their power to understand me and my physical and emotional ups and downs. In any case, you have inspired me and I hope to be the same kind of crutch for you now. I hope that you don't mind me imposing myself on you a little bit more.

I don't know how many of you watch the Dr. Oz Show, but I record the show's while I am at work and I watch them while dinner is cooking. There was an episode, forgive me because I cannot recall the exact date at the moment but I know that it was a few weeks ago. He covered a product and I wrote it down, like I always do, with the intention of looking into it later. To be honest, I usually don't get around to researching products and by the time I do remember, I have lost the scrap of paper that I wrote it on.

Dr. Oz was covering yet another "miracle" or "magical" weight loss aide. The name of it is Gacinia Cambogia extract and Instead of writing it down this time, completely positive that I would lose it, I texted it to myself. I ended up forgetting all about it until it was almost check-out time at work. A text from my brother prompted me to look at my messages and there it was. Garcinia Cambogia. I started my research on my work computer for the first few minutes and then emailed myself with the information. When I got home last night, while dinner was cooking, I started the computer. I first Wikipedia'd, I know I can't be the only one that searches Wiki. :D

I found other websites that discussed the same types of information as I found on Wikipedia, and I found others that recommended various products, or even sold them. It would seem that there are hundreds of products on the market that makes it important to understand which products to purchase. I found a news article at http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases ... 03591.html that discusses some important factors in choosing the best quality products and some cautionary measures people should know before purchasing.

Has anyone taken this product? What products are you currently taking to help reach your weight loss goals this year? How has it been going for everyone? I am sure some of us have had moments of discouragement and frustration, but I hope everyone is still focused on reaching their goals. I am curious as to what changes everyone else has made this year and the progress everyone has made so far. Share your stories with me and let's help motivate one another to keep moving forward toward our goals in order to make this year one to remember.

Buy the way, here is the news release on Garcinia: http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases ... 03591.html

[mod edit]

Before I place any orders, I would really like to hear back from you all.

Thank you for taking the time out to read my post, I appreciate it.

I would think of the source of that news release. Is it coming from a reputable source? If Dr. Oz has talked about many new "miracle" weight loss cures, why would this one be any different?

It sounds like another weight loss scam to me. unfortunately as hard as it is, good old fashioned diet and exercise is really the best way to go.
