What happens to organ donors after they die?

Postby noreally_imfine » Thu Jun 13, 2013 7:46 am

Is all that stuff true that they won't help pay for your funeral, that doctors won't try as hard to save you? that they won't do proper burial arrangements afterwards?

my coworker told me this. i don't know if I'm naive to what REALLY goes on in the world or if thats complete b.s.
“Oh, you think darkness is your ally? But you merely adopted the dark. I was born in it. Molded by it. I didn’t see the light until I was already a man. By then, it was nothing to me but blinding! The shadows betray you because they belong to me!” - Bane

I don't think it would be true, but maybe you could check by asking the organisation/department that manages organ donation in your country. Let us know if you get any answers. :)
No diagnosis, lots of opinions, and a bunch of issues that I haven't quite figured out.
