What are you a 'mix' of?

Postby Ciana » Sun May 22, 2016 11:56 am

My pd-nos / mixed pd consists of (and these are in no specific order) schizoid, narcissistic, borderline, antisocial, anankastic, passive aggressive, and paranoid pds. I also have GAD and a specific phobia.

It's interesting cos under this heading you can have a bunch of different combinations, so what's yours?
Dx: PD-NOS, GAD.

I'm not PD-NOS, I'm diagnosed BPD with narcissistic and antisocial traits. I've long suspected I'm actually NPD with borderline and antisocial traits. I meet the DSM-5 criteria for NPD and not BPD.

I have traits from most if not all cluster B personality disorders. I don't know that I have any specific HPD traits, but I definitely have borderline, antisocial, and narcissistic traits.

I'm also diagnosed PTSD due to traumatic experiences, and have been told by my psychologist that I have mild OCD. I've also recently come to terms with the fact that I have anxiety and got a prescription for Xanax for anxiety attacks.
Dx: NPD, PTSD

Mainly avoidant with depressive and paranoid features. I consider myself to be a "Self Deserting Avoidant".

- Fixated on fantasies of power, success, intelligence, attractiveness, etc.
- Self-perception of being unique, superior and associated with high-status people and institutions
- Needing constant admiration from others
- Sense of entitlement to special treatment and to obedience from others
- Unwilling to empathize with others' feelings, wishes, or needs

BPD:
- Impulsive and often dangerous behaviors, such as spending sprees, unsafe sex, substance abuse, reckless driving, and binge eating
- Inappropriate, intense anger or problems controlling anger

HPD:
- Egocentricity
- Lack of consideration for others
- Continuous seeking for appreciation, excitement and attention
- Sexual and flirtatious behaviour
