Sleep paralysis research

Postby Guest » Tue May 03, 2005 11:32 am

Hello,

I am a PhD student researching various aspects of sleep paralysis. If you have experienced sleep paralysis once or more and DO NOT have narcolepsy then I would greatly appreciate it if you would visit my webpages and complete a short questionniare. I am developing a new questionnaire to investigate sleep paralysis experiences and I need to analyse responses to this existing questionnaire before I start.

As I'm sure most of you know, sleep paralysis is the feeling of not being able to move either as you are going to sleep or as you are waking up. It might feel as though you cannot move your arms or legs and cannot speak or cry out.

So, if you do not have narcolepsy and have experienced sleep paralysis once or more then please go and fill in the questionnaire, it will take just a couple of minutes and is completely anonymous http://homepages.gold.ac.uk/sleep/nei.php

Thank you very much, Julia
