Kidcudi, please don't make these kinds of threads. You need to talk to a psych, don't trigger people here.
forum-rules.phpI am sorry I am not on the forum as much as I used to be, if I do not reply to you quickly, please contact another moderator/supermod/admin as well.

I saw the initial post and did not think that it was triggering in any way. If people are not allowed to post about paraphilias and masturbation on a forum dealing with sexual problems what are they allowed to post about? His message was two sentences long, it's not like he was going into graphic detail or anything. kidcudi14 has posted on here numerous times in a good faith attempt to find out if he has pedophilia or OCD, but he has never included the information in that post before. How do you expect someone to seek professional help if they aren't even sure they have a problem and can't ask about it even on an anonymous forum? Really, the moderation on this forum is getting to be really arcane, and that saddens me because this was the one place on the internet where people with these sorts of problems could come for support. I agree with your banning of people like Shrink Rap due to their trolling and inappropriate posts, but this person has a legitimate problem. Would you prefer he get his information from an open, public forum like this where moderators other users can correct misinformation or would you prefer he get it from somewhere else? Also, most of the regular users on here have seemed to stop posting here due to the new rules, which again is sad, because this had just finally started to evolve into an actual support community where people might be helped.
P.S. - I'm not trying to start an argument here. I've never gotten upset with another user or moderator on here and see no reason for it. I also realize that this is a private non-profit site that has the right to set it's own rules. However, if the organization's interest is in helping people I hope that it will be receptive to ideas on how it may be of more help.

I thought the post might be offensive to pedophiles and besides I don't see how asking them if they masturbate (and the rest of what was said) would help. It's not to censor people, I am just trying to avoid a fight. We've had others upsetting the posters here recently. I will lock this thread.
Kidcudi, please talk to your doctor or psych, don't increase your anxiety on these forums. I'm sorry, I mean no offense. If you want to start another thread, please do so, but be more thoughtful.
