Paraphilia resources

Hi Everyone,

It's been suggested that we could do with a Resources section. Perhaps it's time to update the "paraphilias: Treatment & Medication" sticky at the top of this forum?

A resources thread could be a quick reference for newcomers and people looking for further information about paraphilias.

Useful content could include:

* Descriptions and definitions of paraphilias
* Helpful websites
* Helpful books
* Support agencies

Please note that to make it a sticky (so that it stays at the top of the forum) all linked content would have to be of a professional nature (e.g. published by a government department, a not-for-profit organisation, or an educational institute.) So it's unlikely we'd be allowed to link to a personal blog or YouTube. And definitely no links that are pornographic.

Please reply with any suggestions you have. Once everyone's had a chance to make suggestions, I'll collate them and ask for approval from the Site Admins to make it a sticky.

I just want to say that I think a recorces thread would be a great idea, least I think it would be, I persoanlly won't be posting in it because I have barely any knowlage on this subject so I think a recorces thread would be a great asset to newcomers (and me )

By resources section I was refering to links to places that argure pro paraphilia and anti paraphilia. I want research done by professionals. I want to see statistics. I want to learn the history of paraphilias. I want to learn about sociology in conjunction with paraphilias etc etc. Without being disrespectful our current resource section is just a list of medications and therapy methods. Which is fine, but I'm looking for more.

Shrink Rap has been banned for posting a link about how pedophiles should treat children in an intimate relationship, seeing how he's had warnings before. If anyone has any links that they would want to post here, please ask a moderator or admin to review them first.

You're not here to have the right to free speech, Kouda, you're here to enjoy the site as long as you follow its rules. The site is privately owned, if you don't like it, you can leave.
By the way, free speech would also mean that anyone on this site could say anything they want to you, I doubt you'd like that.
