Huh? Wouldn't that mean that if a paedophile shakes a child's hand it is considered sexual abuse? Or if a child doesn't look where he or she is going, and literally runs into a paedophile, that sexual abuse has occurred??
A blanket definition like that doesn't make sense to me.
No diagnosis, lots of opinions, and a bunch of issues that I haven't quite figured out.

No. Where did you read it? Was there an added context or perspective that I/we are missing?

No, not any contact. Just any sexual contact. Perhaps non-sexual contact with sexual purpose can be considered such, like patting head for being sexually aroused.

I know i'm new here, but hang on, i must've missed something here so please correct me if i have. But are you saying that if i/you patted a kid on the head and got some sort of buzz from it, that would be abuse, but if another adult performed exactly the same action (i.e. patted a kid on the head) but didn't get a buzz from it, even though they are identical behaviours, one would be abusive and the other wouldn't be?

Aaah, I see, thanks for explaining. So, hypothetically, if the adult doing the patting wasn't a pedophile, would it still be sexual abuse?
