Help me - I AM a Pedophile

This is a very old thread, but I wanted to reply to this.

I read all the pages and I don't see any hateful comments by the previous mods.
If you want to discuss about moderators' work, then you can send a PM to a mod or admin if you don't agree with their actions, instead of talking about it on the public forum, since it also goes against the rules to question a mod's job on the public forum, but you can do it via PM

I think it would be constructive for people to avoid criticising or brown-nosing mods. Neither is salubrious.

I felt like replying too even though its from 2009. I am a pedophile thats sexually attracted to 10-12 year olds and im 37 now. I have never acted on it or looked at any pornography, Ive never got any help it has always remained a secret until recently i told a best friend who was ok with it. It all started I think when i was about 10-11 years old. i was sexually abused when i was 10 or 11 and ive read some things on the internet that abuse can have a psychological affect making them pedophiles, also my mum was raped by her father so he was a pedophile and i find that strange really as it may be in the genes maybe? Ive not got help from anywhere, ive looked everywhere online to talk to somone but theres nothing, just to be able to talk about it is a relief, but there is nobwhere to go, they dont support the ones who have not acted on it they just rub them all off and think they are all bad. I have never had a girlfriend, i have some serious anxiety issues and when i am not attracted to anyone except 11 and 12 year olds. I have only just started to come to terms with it really, i try to ignore it but then it comes back. I found it difficult to come to terms with and refused to call myself a pedophile but now i realise it will always be with me and theres nothing i can do about it. But if there was help or other people going through the sdame thing that might help, but up to now ive just been unsusseful in finding anything.
