I'm a teen boy, and I think I have a problem... I think I might become a Pedophile... It started a few weeks ago. Usually I fantasize about girls my age, but since a few weeks when I'm doin "that" the girls get younger everytime... Please don't get me wrong, I have nothing against being a Pedophile, as long as they don't molest children and stuff... Like the guy who started this topic, I have nothing against him... But I just don't want to be one. =( This is something I never told anyone, and I hope someone on here can help me... Thank for your time =3

You've been having these fantasies for a few weeks only. It may not be significant, you could grow out of it. I wouldn't worry yet.

Try and concentrate on desires that don't make you ill at ease, and reassess your situation later on.

What if this attraction to younger girls was here to stay?
Admittedly, it wouldn't be an easy situation to deal with. There are two things that could work in your favour, though.
You are attracted to people your age. You don't have to give up the hope of a healthy, fulfilling love life.
You know the difference between having an attraction towards children and acting on this attraction, and you don't regard the mere attraction as despicable or morally wrong. Therefore you could be relatively comfortable with this side of yourself. (Once again that is if this attraction proves to last, and it may well not last).

Remember that whatever attraction you may happen to have doesn't define you.

As Schwa said, you could grow out of it, but that you are seeking advice now is a great sign. I honestly wish i had an outlet like this when I was your age. I am now 36 and it only gets harder with age to control the thoughts. I myself find attraction in young girls, but I also have healthy sexual thoughts with women my own age, in fact, I am married. She knows, and it puts stress on the relationship at times, but I am eternally grateful to have such a loving and accepting woman in my life. I am lucky also in that I have keep my feelings to myself and have never acted upon them. I would say to continue chatting here in this forum, for without support, controlling the urges only becomes an uphill climb on a cliff that is angled outward (or at least that's how I see it lol). My experience is different. I don't get totally fascinated by the beauty of a boy anymore, like when I was 20 (I'm about your age).

Moreover, with time, the lower boundary of the ages I'm attracted to went up. By a few years only, but it means the youngest people I'm attracted to are adolescents, not prepubescent children, and I find it less disturbing.

I'm curious about what you told your wife. I'm single and I often wonder how open I should be if I were to get into a long-term relationship or get married. At what stage of your relationship did you tell her? What was your motivation ? (did she found out? did you fear she might? did you feel the need to be completely honest? did you guess she would be OK?) How did she react?

my psychologist developed a plan for me that includes using ammonia salts.
basically everytime you have a fantasy or an urge you can't shake off - open a small pouch with ammonia salt within it and place it into a old photo container. Also for something more discrete try using an afterbite stick/pen. That one looks less like you're trying to do drugs from a photo container and like you're making a misquto bite stop itching. ive lost everything within the last year because of my "deviant sexual behaviors" got me into trouble with the law. hope these tips help you.

i felt like this was me telling the story. im now 28 and it started very young for me too. probably before the age of 12. i remember seeing a picture of a some underage boys and from then on it just escalated. there was an attraction to other boys my age and i thought my attraction would age as i did but it remained in that same preteen age group. i didnt do anything to help myself. i kept getting deeper and now i wish i wouldve realized the road i was headed down. ive never done anything serious but have definitely had the urges to. i ended up doing something stupid to satisfy my sexual desires and got caught. i am now a registered sex offender and will have to live with that for a while. i dont want to be what i am. its just a battle that i have to keep fighting. i hope to help people by my mistakes. my advice is to take inventory of yourself and get your problems worked out asap before it only gets tougher.

Never download pedofil pics or videos. The best is if you never watch them. Fantasy is not illegal, even not so ill as you think of it now.
