Well the only thing that would be upsetting would be towards children or even animals, I'm assuming it's the latter.

How long have you had these thoughts ?

I won't say what they are, but I've had them since I was a teenager. Do you think it would be possible to replace these fantasies with healthier ones?

It's ok I can bet what they are... otherwise you would have told me it is not that.

To be honest I haven't heard of a pedophile saying that they can or even want to turn their thoughts to that of healthier thoughts.

Is it that you want to get the thoughts of children out of your head to that of someone whose your own age, or just happier thoughts like being on a beach?
Not sure what you are wanting to know.

There is no way to alter a person's sexuality (whether the sexual interests are defined as a paraphilia or otherwise). If it were possible to change one's sexual fantasies, almost everyone would choose to be attracted to the people who are attracted to them. Life is not so simple.

If you are worried about upsetting someone by describing your fantasies, you can send me a private message. I am a (non-offending) paedophile, and I will not be upset or offended by any fantasy, even if your fantasies are unrelated to my own.

I am attracted to women my own age. But I also find myself attracted to teenage girls and, sometimes, even men. I don't want to feel this way. If you can replace negative thoughts with positive ones, why can't you replace unacceptable sexual fantasies with acceptable ones?

I don't know if it works that way or not unfortunately.

I have yet to mean someone who deals with paraphilia that can change the negative to the positive, I don't even know if that is suggested or not...

What about therapy? Thought about it?

I could never talk about that sort of thing with a therapist. It would be too embarrassing. Not to mention, she'd probably think I was a monster and have me thrown in jail.

I don't believe that negative thoughts can be replaced with positive thoughts. There is no evidence to suggest that "unacceptable" sexual fantasies can be replaced by "acceptable" sexual fantasies.

That will not have any impact upon his fantasies.
