As I have always maintained, matters will be difficult until people learn that being attracted to teenagers is not paedophilia and finding a 15 yr old attractive does not mean you find 4 yr olds attractive. With paedophilia now taken to mean being attracted to 17 yr olds in the public mind, people are wrongly labeled that and they think that there are all these men all over the place waiting to snatch and rape and murder their toddlers. This conflation is problematic, it is especially problematic for those paedophiles among you, I suspect that true paedophiles are few enough in numbers that making help and support available would be well within any governments budget.

Even in large parts of the US, 16 is legal, and in most of the US 17 is legal for sexual intercourse; Under 18 just can't consent to being in sexual imagery. Just wanted to correct you on that. The rationale is slightly different than the rationale of sexual consent, although they're treated alike after the fact.

It was a good video and good thoughts came from it. Unfortunately, no one is really hearing him. I like the things he said and it's alot of what I've learned on these boards, just hoping a larger audience can hear similar words.

Anyone know a very famous TV or movie star who's a paedophile or hepephile? Famous stars kill themselves for drugs and depression and the media eats it up. It gives those of us with depression a leg to stand on. But having an attraction that could never be fulfilled is something that needs to be discussed by the masses.

I mentioned this to my brother about 15 or so years ago... "Some white (or black or green) guys are attracted to Asian women. Some guys are attracted to very large women (over 300lb club), some white guys love black girls and black guys love white girls. Then there's the whole guy/guy, girl/girl, guy/trans and so one. So with all these allowable attractions, why does being attracted to younger be so taboo?" Is there an answer to that question? An answer from an outsider??

I'm afraid that it's an internal battle that may end up killing me. It's killed so many others and got labeled as something else.
