Attracted to children...I need help

I've been attracted for, for a long time...It started when I was around 7, I developed attractions towards boys my age, but of course, I didn't understand it at the time, I just remember having these feelings...I'm a teen now, and i'd say my age range is around 9-15, I've developed some attractions towards other children in my classroom, names which will be undisclosed...I just discovered this site today, and I would like to talk about my problems, I try to avoid talking to my parents about it, because we all know, how it might go down...I just need to talk about my problems...Thank you- New Member

When you say that you are attracted to someone of your classmates does that mean that they are the same age as you? Are they still within your age range or are you also attracted to older people? Just know that having these thoughts doesn't make you a monster or anything like that. Our thoughts don't determine whether we are good or bad people, our actions do.

This business of boys developing attractions to same age boys but not developing out of it in adulthood keeps coming up time and time again. It almost seems a separate issue from strict paedophilia.

This limit of 15 keeps coming up too - it is legal in most places to have sex with 16 yr olds, so why does this same limit, stopping just short of legality keep appearing?

What if the person has never seen a 16 year old they are attracted to but has seen 15 year olds they are attracted to. What if on more than average, 16 year olds exhibit one or more physical attributes that make them unattractive to the person? What if on less than average, 15 year olds are attractive to the person? That just means that what they find attractive is rarely seen in 15 year olds and never seen in 16 year olds, but it is found in 15 year olds and so that is made the end of their age range? That doesn't make it necessarily make it a psychological thing. Sorry that this is so poorly written but hopefully that makes sense.
