Unless there's lots of posts in here, it will be too small of a sample size to judge anything from.
It is sometimes a mistake to climb; it is always a mistake never even to make the attempt. If you do not climb you will not fall. This is true. But is it that bad to fail, that hard to fall?

Do I count in these 'paedophiles only' threads? My ages of attraction are mostly 11+ but I'm not attracted to prepubescent children.

In a word, no. ;) Attraction to 11+ is perfectly normal.
