Questions about masochism

Postby bela123 » Tue Mar 17, 2015 4:36 pm

Can a psychopath, even having a big ego, enjoo being masochist and being treated like an inferior person?
Can a person be a masochist, enjoy doing masochist stuff in bed and like being treated as inferior not having a low self esteem?
Do you think a masochist would enjoy being dominated by someone with low self esteem who thinks is not completely loved by his/her masochist partner or do you think masochists only feel attracted by people with a very narcisistic personality?
Low self esteem, shy, trouble in raciocinating, etc.

I'm a masochist. I should neither like to be dominated by a shy guy or a psychopath. The first would defeat the point of the exercise, as for the second, I tend to prefer escaping with my life.

Not all psychopaths are murderers. We'd be hypocritical if we defended the fact that not all pedophiles are child molesters or necrophiles don't treat dead people with respect etc. and then grouped every psychopath together.

PwASPD here. Of course. Only, ONLY, during sex in my case. I like it and enjoy it, but my taste is pretty versatile because I can also be quite sadistic.

Can a person be a masochist, enjoy doing masochist stuff in bed and like being treated as inferior not having a low self esteem?

Absolutely.

Do you think a masochist would enjoy being dominated by someone with low self esteem who thinks is not completely loved by his/her masochist partner or do you think masochists only feel attracted by people with a very narcisistic personality?

I can't speak for anyone else, but I don't think I would be genuinely into it if a guy I was being dominated by wasn't confident enough in himself and his skills. Dominant, confident men do it for me. 8)

If someone wants to hurt or humiliate others, or have this done to them, they have low self esteem, despite any fraudulent facade they may attempt to present.

Do you think a masochist would enjoy being dominated by someone with low self esteem who thinks is not completely loved by his/her masochist partner or do you think masochists only feel attracted by people with a very narcisistic personality?

The question is moot. Everyone with a narcissistic personality also has low self-esteem. Narcissists present themselves in a grandiose way attempting to hide from themselves and others their inferiority complexes.
