I don't have much to add to the title. I read some articles earlier today about a sector of guys who parade around the feminist label as a means of seducing women, and in some cases abusing them, assaulting them, raping them. It made a point about how these guys seem to get off on the idea of dominating powerful women.
It was a bit uneasy for me because, well... I think that I think of myself as a feminist. But I also know that I absolutely fantasize about most of the women I know being, um, sadist-handled. And now I'm wondering if the two ideas can actually go together at all. Is it possible for someone to GENUINELY root for equality by day while dreaming of domination and humiliation by night?

I know all feminists see this differently, but I'm very feminist yet I don't try to exclude who can be a feminist.
I think it's counter-productive to place restrictions on who can be a feminist or who can be a true feminist or whatever. I'm not into being a thought police, so really, I just want people to care about the cause and be devoted to equality in real life. I don't care what you or anyone else thinks about or fantasizes about. It's not important in the big scheme of things.
What's important is making social change....if you can genuinely be in support of that and be a good person then nothing else really matters in my opinion.

I'm a male sadist who's also a feminist, or at least, I consider myself to be one.
My fantasies don't affect the way I see women.
