I was too nervous about registering, but found reading about other people's experiences and issues to be a great help.
Anyway - I have registered and have contributed a couple of times now so hopefully I'm out of the 'shadows' so to speak! lol.

Got a friend who is a pedophile, so I try to understand him better and what he might be going through. He's never committed a crime against a child to my knowledge. Either way, some of the conversations had here are interesting indeed. Can't really say lurkers have evil intentions, as most just are curious, or are just surfing the net and stumbling upon this place.

Evil doesn't exist. Therefore, no-one can have evil intentions.

All this morality bullsht is just a man-made invention to control society like mindless puppets.

I personally don't see any reason to label my actions as right or wrong, bad or evil. Everything I do is just a choice and an action and if it happens to disagree with the law, well, so be it.

You get my point though, that they don't lurk to stalk the pedobears on here.

As someone whose position on morality is most akin to emotivism (which regards moral utterances purely as the expression of underlying feelings) I'd struggle to disagree with that.

I've been lurker for a while, but post on occasion.

I have been interested in paraphilias since my teens, but the only information I seemed to find on the subject was in books about serial killers or other sex offenders and I was hoping to find more information about paraphiles who weren't offenders.

As a society we like to consider these things as 'the ultimate evil', but to be honest, I think that some of the greatest evils are not as explicit.

So, I hope you don't mind me lurking and asking questions from time to time.

I think lurkers are welcome as long as they don't have bad intentions.

I'm just fascinated by sexuality and plus, having seen a lot of crime documentaries, even if I don't at all condone that behaviour and I think some perpetrators are sincerely bad people, no one chooses to be a paraphile and so maybe it's a overly simplistic to think that all of these people are horrible predatory perverts. I think it is interesting why we are aroused by the things that arouse us, the variety of things that people can be attracted to, how that came to be, and the morality behind it: if it is just societal or if there are more objective reasons as to why certain behaviours shouldn't be permitted.
