I was using TOR as a proxy, which works just fine, when you know how to harden your browser against attacks. Been using TOR for years, many forums are now being a pain in the ass and banning them and even proxy servers. Was easier when I lived in the city, was like 30 open wifi broadcasting within range lol.

That ain't true on tor, the links for CP are literally listed on the same page as everything else. You don't have to look for it or type anything in. It is just there. A wayward curious click of the mouse and this whole illicit world of the most horrific depravity is displayed before your very eyes. But it is too late by then. That one wayward click and you have separated yourself from the human race.

I stand corrected. I thought it was just a browser that incorporated a proxy for people who still think it's 1996, and watch The X-Files with a load of tin foil on their heads.

Definitely worth staying away from then, if that's the case.

I've noticed that the 'For Boy Lovers' thread now has over 1000 views. I'm sure quite a few are from simple curiosity but for those views that are not I'd love it if more 'boy lovers' were posting here so I could not only understand myself better but also to let them know that I understand what they are going through. Argh I want to delete every post I make recently.

I'm very sure the authorities and most sensible members of the public would rather folk post on here in efforts to try to understand thier attractions, work to not offend and get some support than end up on tor contributing to the problem. It is better to admit you have such desires and work at having a life where they have minimal impact than to bottle them up and wind up in my unfortunate position.

Found this site yesterday morning and normally I wouldn't register zoo quickly but this seems like a very supportive forum. Wish I'd found this site ten years ago (if it existed then) when I first realized I might have been a pedophile.
Anyway just wanted to say I look forward to becoming a member of this community

This index was started about ten years ago. You've come a long way Baby! At that time a pedophile support community didn't exist here, instead, one of the first thread in this index about pedophilia was started by a moderator, and it read:

"...it's not a sexual orientation, it's a disease."

There were two earlier threads about pedophilia, the very first one was locked, and then in the second thread the moderator advises:

"...you need to turn him in immediately. Of [sic] simply provide me with the name..."

and then continues in a follow up post,

"I think you have an obligation to let the authorities in that community know about him as well. Just tell them what you do know and let them worry about tracking him down."

So, no, I don't think you would have wanted to find this index ten years ago.
