Money Fetish?

Postby UnstruckNote » Fri Nov 28, 2014 5:37 pm

So I'm not sure how common this is but I think I have a fetish for money, specifically guys giving me money or buying me expensive things without giving them anything in return (I'm female btw). I work as a model and this interest started when a fan of my work suggest I make an amazon wish list telling me he wanted to buy gifts for me. So I did and for awhile he would buy a few items off my wishlist every month. I then started to feel bad when I found out the guy didn't make much money (he was a telemarketer). I really enjoy making guys buy me things but is this wrong? Is there a way to do this responsibly? I don't know if I should trust that the guys buying me things/sending me money are smart enough to not be putting themselves in debt?

You're not unusual amongst women, believe me!

I don't know whether or not a money fetish, or similar paraphilia exists, but it's wrong to take advantage of people and string them along. I'm not saying that buying gifts automatically entitles men to expect something in return, but don't piss around with people's feelings, no matter what gullible mugs they happen to be.

I think that I have the complimentary fetish to yours, UnstruckNote: I enjoy buying women things, especially young women and expensive things. I make a good income and I have never put myself into debt, but I have spent much more than I have intended. There are a few young women that I buy presents for, pretty regularly. It gives me a sexual kick, which doesn't seem to make a lot of sense, since I DON'T expect anything in return (and I KNOW there will never be anything in return).

I have Scottish genes, so I would give you almost nothing and expect plenty in return. ;)

But seriously, is this a fetish? Is it what triggers orgasm?

I don't know about UnstruckNote, but for me it makes me extremely sexually aroused and I will generally masturbating, when I have the chance.

Hi, UnstruckNote.

This doesn't sound like a fetish, unless you get sexually aroused by it. Is it sexual? Do you get aroused by it?

Anyway, as Graveyard suggested, it's not ok to take advantage of people, so you might want to moderate yourself.

I have participated in this fetish (on the giving end.) In the BDSM community it is referred to as findom. I can get extraordinarily aroused by giving my money away or buying something and getting nothing in return, but the girl should have a certain personality to excite me in that way, preferably bratty, conceited, and manipulative. She should not thank me, but take pleasure in using me.

Thankfully I am not as aroused by this as I used to be, as I don't make a lot of money. I make pretty much minimum wage but I still love blowing my money on sexy girls. There are probably thousands of girls doing this online and there is no shortage of guys into it. My only problem is that I feel like I'm not giving them crap if I don't spend over 100 dollars at a time, as many of these girls would consider a 50 dollar gift card to be small change, and they have hordes of men willing to give them more, or at least I feel that way. fifty dollars is about what I make in a day though, after taxes.

I've never thought anyone would actually be aroused by receiving money/gifts.

Some men love being "taken advantage of" and I say that with quote marks because it's not really being taken advantage of if you love doing it.

I love when men buy me things ;) I think every woman does lol its not sexual to me though, I just love the thought of being taken care of by a man, and the fact that he's willing to spend his hard earned money on me.

Haha I used to get a lot of gifts from guys, who claimed to be "just friends" with me. I was never really sure how to react to it, and I was afraid that people would think I was obligated to give them back sexual favors or something. But I do enjoy (not sexually) receiving gifts, from pretty much anyone. It makes me feel special. I wouldn't want anyone to think I'm taking advantage of them just by liking to receive presents.

Actually, I have a few female friends who give me gifts like this too, just because they want to.
