At age 63 I developed pedophilia. This had never been a part of my life and it is hard for me to understand. The only change is that at about the same time as this began, I started using Androgel (testosterone replacement therapy) as prescribed by my physician. I wonder if anyone else has had any kind of similar experience or would know how I might research further.

There seems to be some mixed evidence about the role of testosterone. I think it was in this book that increased levels were found to be, or theorised to be, related to paedophilia -
http://www.amazon.com/Pedophilia-Biosoc ... 1461396840It's quite old, and I haven't managed to read it, and is possibly of no use anyway. One study I came across said that the small sample of paedophiles had lower levels of testosterone than others.
Sorry I can't help further.
