What am i considered?

I am a 16 year old male, and i have been having these feelings for about a year now.

I am attracted to females that are normal age, (my age or older).
But i am also attracted to boys within the ages of 11-14

There are a few specific people in my school within that age bracket that i am specifically attracted to, and of course i would never act on those attractions, other than the occasionally hand brush.

But i wanted to know if i would be considered a pedophile, since i am still considered a 'child' because i am under the age of 18 and am attracted to other persons under the age of 18?

Will these attractions continue throughout my life or is it just something that happens at certain times and eventually will go away?

Please help me understand what i am classified as, and if this will be a lifetime problem for me.

Your a non-exclusive hebephile, if you've been having the sexual attraction for over a year I doubt its gonna go away by the time your legally become an adult. You say you also like females of your age and older, so I don't see why you should be too concerned about whatever attraction you may have for officially labelled male "minors".

What you describe is fairly normal, your 16 and your hormones are racing still. Being attracted to either sex of similar age to yourself is pretty normal although a lot of guys won't admit it. I had sexual experimentation with 3 boys between 12-16 years old and all 3 of them went on to marry and have children so guys being attracted to each other and experimenting is normal. You have to be careful though as the younger guys you feel attracted to are at the lower end of the accepted scale of ages, but certainly 14-16 would be pretty normal. It may be that you are bi if you like both guys and girls.

You are still young and need to figure out whether you are straight, gay or bi, don't put too much emphasis on to things and date who you feel like dating regardless of sex and figure out what you want out of life and a partner.

Maybe in a few years you might be sure of things more of your sexual orientation but don't assume you are a peadophile for having normal teenager hormones and reactions to sex and curiosity.

Also just make sure you only do stuff with people who are close to your age and are willing participants don't do anything that could land you in trouble.
