Reverse Paedophilia?

Good friend of mine has had a natural craving for older men since she was very young. When other people have gone through phases trying to figure out what they like, she's known what she's wanted in a partner quite young. She was very precocious and understood sex and complex subjects involving that and had an affinity for it. Was never sexually abused at all.

Her relationship with her father was abusive but her attraction to older men isn't to crave safety or protection or attention. She doesn't want a relationship with her father. It's very strange. It's like it's this very instinctual impulse. It's basically like a reverse paedophile - like there's a natural craving in her for men that are older. Oddly, she doesn't have validation issues or attention seeking habits with men in general and she's extremely perceptive with them. She just has a preference of the type of men she likes.

As a person she's always identified with being younger, yet she's not a childish person. She's very child like yet she's more of an adult than most adults I know because many adults are childish if you understand what I mean. As a woman she's also extremely emotionally independent and everything about her is independent of others. She's the person that ends up giving advice to girls about this sort of topic because she can differentiate abusive men that like younger women from non-abusers.

I was wondering if there's a terminology for people (namely women) that are instinctively attracted to older men.

I figured that if the term paedophile exists as a term there has to be something that represents the opposite.

And if anyone relates to this it would be awesome if you could post your experience

She's 22 and from when she was in elementary school she was attracted to men age 30 and above. Her favorites were 40+. Started dating guys that were teenagers when she was that age.

Her precociousness was fascinating.

She just likes older guys as simple as that. There is no name for your friend's interest as it is not a pathology. There is a paraphilia called gerontophilia which is a sexual preference for the elderly but your friend does not appear to prefer men who are 65 years and older.

She's wanted older men since she was a small child. I guess I was wondering why it's taken seriously if adults crave children sexually but it's brushed off as negative social conditioning or a preference if a child wants that kind of relationship with an adult?

That's why I was like...is there some kind of term for this?

A small child? What age was she? Had she entered puberty when these desires started?

She started masturbating when she was around 5 and when she learned that such a thing existed when she was around 10ish from some older teacher esque hentai drawings she found, that's how it started. But if she had found the drawings sooner I don't think that age or puberty would have been a factor. Whether it being age 4 to 8 pre puberty years.

Most women that are attracted to men just end up gravitating towards men their own ages. She did that and she dated around plenty but she had this instinct that older men suited her.

Like I legitimately do not think that most little girls want older men in that way. A 10 year old wanting a 50 year old?
