To state what should be obvious to anyone capable of rational thought, but nonetheless doesn't seem to be obvious to everyone capable of rational thought, 15-year-olds are only deemed incapable of giving consent in jurisdictions where the age of consent is higher than 15 years. Yes, this statement is tautological, blindingly obvious to the point of being utterly banal, but it needed said. It's also worth pointing out that the age of consent is absolutely irrelevant to attraction, as it refers to a prohibition on sexual activity, not sexual attraction. The legal framework does not need to be invoked in such discussions.
As an aside, I've just looked back at the responses above. I don't see how anyone questioned the mod's decision. KevinG31 merely stated correctly that attraction to girls aged 15, 16 and 17 is biologically valid and does not qualify as paraphilic. If stating something that is correct has the inconvenient corollary of calling into question a mod's decision, I would suggest that that is unfortunate, but based on his wording we cannot assume that this was his primary motive.
