So I think I've finally discovered and just about accepted I'm a pedophile, now what?
Do I tell my parents?
Therapy?
What?
I'm only young which is annoying but I guess I've got to push through this

Only tell anyone if you feel safe telling them, and you think it's something you want them to know. I told my parents eventually, but only years after I figured it out, and after I was no longer financially dependent on them.

Therapy is something you can consider if you're having actual problems, whether stemming from your orientation or from some other concern, but it's not mandatory or anything. I don't go to therapy, and my life has been basically alright.

There really isn't a set path laid out before any of us. We just have to muddle through and make our lives as best we know how.

Are you sure this is who you are Pilot245, you prefer prepubescent girls under 13 years old? I only ask because you don't seem to indicate that in any of your other posts.

If this is who you really are, then I can only advice you to get whatever help you honestly think you need. No one else can judge you better than you.

Thank you youthrightsradical it is something that I would want to know, they're very understanding people and I could tell them anything, I just have problems with feeling rubbish a lot of the time.

About 90% of males are turned on by erotic images and stories of prepubescent girls. That doesn't make you sick, it means you're normal.

I see mostly two types coming to this index about pedophilia: 1 guys who are disturbed by their thoughts and feelings about little girls and need some reassurance, and 2 guys who are identified as pedophiles and need some help with making that identity work-out as a happy and productive one. I'd defiantly put you in the first type.

More than therapy, I'd suggest what you could use is a jacuzzi, a ski-trip, or a fun night out with friends: some de-stressing.

If I'm honest that does bring me relief and reassurance, just like it does if I check and get the response that I desire, but do these thoughts disturb me, I'm not sure. Okay I get nervous around girls younger than me and want to run, and I do check my attraction to them, but I'm not disgusted by them, maybe it's because I have them constantly maybe it's not, this is just all very confusing with me, and finding a way to cope and not care is my main priority now, I actually had a night out the weekend gone and it kind of made me worse I think, I don't mix well with drink when I feel like this, however being with friends does make me feel a lot better
