I guess I didn't realize I tended to resort to the same paths, so thinking of it as forming a new habit and breaking the old one is gonna be good. I think all I meant by "cure-all" was that it's a safe way for me to indulge in my current circumstances without either feeling bad or being in danger, but I'm glad you went further on your idea anyway.
