Graveyard
Are you feeling any better? xx
If they are being that arse maybe could you tell them it was just a wind up or a practical joke, Its a sad fact that its us and our paraphilias against the rest.
I no you and me don't have the same paraphilia but I've been reading a certain anti paraphilia page Im seeing more and more therapists and friends come to slag us all off. It worried me as there are loads of therapists and support workers who leave comments saying they have clients with all manor of issues and how what a bunch of discussing vile people we all are. so i no longer trust therapists(at all) some women wrote "my friend recently told me he was attracted to children and tried to tell me he wouldn't act on it the sick pervert he actually thought I was still gonna speak to him they should all be locked up for good and hanged throw away the key I say"
Its made my mind up I will never ever be disclosing my paraphilia to anyone accept those kind people on here who understand that just because you have a attraction doesn't mean your gonna go and act on it if you know its wrong or going to harm someone in the process.
The way I see it if a child attracted individual is gonna rape a kid then that person would probably rape a adult if they fancied adults too. Grr sorry needed a vent tonight...

Thanks, Pink. I'm feeling better today. After work tomorrow I'm getting away for a few days, so that's helping. :)

What site was this anti paraphilia page on? Some people really do have crap for brains. No wonder so many paraphiles don't trust the professionals.

No need to apologise for venting. I've been needing to vent about this sort of thing too. I'm not a monster, and I am not abusive by nature, but that's how people perceive paraphilia. They imagine us all to be sex driven nut jobs. Some of us might well be, but I'd imagine there's a similar ratio amongst 'ordinary' heterosexuals.

Inclination to rape/abuse is a personality disorder in it's own right. It's not something specific or inherent to any particular orientation.

I see crap like that all the time Pink it's just degrading, funny how were the monsters who have control when they hear something they don't understand their first thought is lock it in a cage or kill it. We have names we are flesh and bone like them. when anyone hears about a Paraphilia they think we've already acted upon these urges. I would love to take whats in my head and jam it into anothers and watch them try to live ONE DAY in our shoes, always being cautious and anti social, their all a bunch of low life scum with nothing better to do except threatening to kill those who have done nothing wrong. I've decided I'm going to go to school and become a therapist. Don't know how its going to go or if I'll even pass but it's worth a shot.

Well, it seems I'm back in peoples' good books, and it's somebody else's turn now.

I've just been made privy to a bit of 'secret' information about somebody's sexual behaviour, which is sadly hilarious but not actually surprising given the character involved. I just laughed, shrugged my shoulders, and said that he's still the same person we all know.

I really don't want to know these things about people. I actually feel embarrassed for this poor bloke.

I've thought of necrophilia before and it does have some potentially arousing triggers. First, it isn't only old people who die, there are plenty of good looking young people who die from drug overdoses or car accidents all the time. The makeup used by the mortician can make the dead body look almost like an actor in a film. The clothes: A mortician once told me online that many beautiful women are dressed in an attractive skirt, pantyhose, and high heels for their funeral. If you were a guest at this funeral obviously the most taboo urge would be to slowly undress her after everyone left you alone with her.

If he's done nothing wrong, would it a good idea to help defend him against these gossiping douches?

I've been assuming that even if the gossip mill had been turning, then people who've known me for years knew me well enough to judge me by who I actually am.

For the last few days though, I've been getting a real cold shoulder from people. That in itself isn't unusual for around here. Everybody gets it from time to time, and it normally blows over after a few days when the local sh!t stirrers move on to someone else, but it's got an edge of real hostility this time. I'm normally quite thick skinned, but this is really getting to me.

I'm a social person. Going for a drink in my local is a big part of my life, and it's where I get most of my work. I hope I'm wrong about what's going on, but it's looking ominous at the moment. The worst thing is wondering what horrible things are going on in peoples heads when they look at me. The word 'necrophiliac' probably conjures up lots of terrible things that couldn't be further from what I really am, and it kills me to think that people who I care a lot about might be judging me by things in their imagination that could never apply to me.

That's why knowing the skeletons in their closet is useful, you can show them they're no better.

I will do. I've already reacted by saying that he's still the same person.

What goes around comes around in the end. All the people enjoying this nonsense will turn on each other at some point, as they've done time and time before.
