When I am in places out side in the city or a forest near a street or something I am constantly paranoid that people are going to kill me or hurt me even when I'm with people. I am always looking around me for any threat. And then when I see people it gets worst and become very jumpy. And I try to get away without being so obvious. I have social anxiety also and probably AvPD. But I do not see symptoms like this in the criteria for PPD. I also have unwanted evil thoughts about killing and other horrible things when I see people or they talk to me it is very difficult. What is this?

Hey,
They wouldn't mention this specifically in relation to social anxiety but it is easy to see how a socially anxious person can start being scared in this way. Do you remember when all of this began?
I agree with many sources when they say that people are generally more scared nowadays. This is because the media only focuses on negative things and we are essentially taught to be scared of the world in which we live.
If you regularly go to a doctor or therapist, then you must talk to him/her about this.
Kevin.

I've had social anxiety problems since i was at least 13 (I'm now 19) I think I started getting paranoid around when I started doing drugs (16-17) So maybe its still there from that, but I don't really know. The evil thoughts I've had for a long time too.

I won't ask what specific drugs you were taking but I'm sure you are aware that drugs alter the brain. When I was in a psychiatric hospital, there were a few guys in my group who had taken drugs for a few months and one described his brain as being 'rotted'. It is well-documented that drugs can make a person paranoid, too.
I dunno... ...maybe you should go to your local doctor about this. i guess that so long as you remain free of drugs, things will eventually get back to 'normal' as your brain redevelops.
