Hi again, it is good to hear from you again. Can you believe that we started this thread back in March? Think back to then - I'm sure you can recognise that you've progressed a lot, right? Your body knows how to repair itself in most cases. In the cases where it doesn't, medical intervention can give it a little boost. So, if your bone does not grow as anticipated, then it will get a little help from the doctors.
I had a mis-hap last Wednesday: I managed to cut a deep gash in my right hand with the sharp-edge of a tuna-can lid. I was forcing the can into the bin (because the bin was full), not realising that the sharp part of the lid was facing directly into my flesh. It cut right down to the muscle.
Take care SuperStar,
Kevin

March? Has it really been that long? Well, it has been, did not notice until you pointed it out. Wasn't really paying attention.
Yes, lots of progress. Yes, they can intervene if necessary I just hope they don't have to, that's all.
Ouch! That had to hurt. Hopefully it will heal soon with no scar or lasting effects. How have you been feeling lately other than gashing your hand?

Hi,
Thanks for asking how I am. Other than the inconvenience of the huge gash on my hand, I returned to college last Monday and am slowly getting back into the groove of life in academia. Each day though, the usual stressors are there (including my chronic colon condition).
It's been so long since I heard from you that I've forgotten many things about you. For instance, are you married or do you haveany children? I'm only 25 by the way!

Just stopped by to leave an update.
Things are going well with healing for the most part. Some balance issues at times but in time that should go away as I get stronger.
One of the biggest "helps" in this process this last month has been watching someone in much worst shape make huge strides in their own healing. Helps to focus on their recovery so I do not get caught up in my stuff when it is going on.
Gotta run. Hope all is well with everyone. Be back when I can.
