I can't seem to get messages to work maybe because I'm a new member?
Anyways I'd like a journal, replies are fine :)

I think you should talk to CrackedGirl, that's what I was told to do.

Not sure I understand why Journals are Journals if we also have Blogs? Plus, not sure I see the point of the Journals if mods can censor, lock, delete, and otherwise fiddle with them just like a regular thread post?

These journals are slightly less public. I doubt nearly as many people visit my journal as my blog. There's a link to my blog wherever I post, but I doubt most people are interested in visiting this forum. Whenever I look at the bottom to see who's browsing I only ever see 2 or 3 guests listed. It's harder to specify who's posting without the ability to change our font color. & it feels more natural & easier to converse with the others in a thread than in the blog. I tend to reserve my blog (lately) for things I pretty much WANT to put in everyone's faces 'cause they need to goddamn read it for their own good. We use the journal as a place where we can all vent & communicate (mostly with each other) individually.

Are journalposts also first approved by a moderator as is with the blogs? Or are journal entries immidiatly posted?

Hi Mick, journal posts are just like blogs.

They have to be approved by a mod first, before they get posted on the forum.

Ok, thanks for your answer.

I understand why I guess, but too bad though. I'm looking for a place to post random thoughts during the day (it helps me) in a reasonable safe forum. Random as in moodswings, thoughts going through my mind and so on.
But sometimes it takes more than a day to have a post approved. With the blog that's ok, but for posting random thoughts it's annoying to post something while the previous aren't yet apporved

For on this forum I'm anonimous ánd this is a reasonable secure forum where people I know won't find me for I post under a totally different name and with different circumstanses :)

Random posting on an open blog-like envirement is not an option for me.

I'll stick to my blog here then :P
