Today I am grateful I was able to practice 5 healthy coping behaviors: writing in dream diary, brushing cat, going outside in the morning, picking up dog poop, & drawing with sidewalk chalk. I’m grateful the weather was conducive to being outdoors for a breakfast picnic. I’m grateful I drew a new design for my shop.

Today I am grateful several cats were milling about as I woke up this morning because I find their presence soothing. I’m grateful I went to a 2nd location today because it was interesting. I’m grateful I went to a 3rd location today because it was useful. I’m grateful I called the credit union this afternoon. I’m grateful I am flexible enough to handle the credit union card problem by snail mail, which cut the call to (only) twenty minutes.

I’m grateful I don’t work in a credit union call center, not that I could.

Thank you.

Yesterday I was grateful to:
1. not have to go anywhere.
2. practice 20 healthy coping mechanisms before lunch.
3. have several places I can go to shut the door & be alone.
Today I’m grateful to:
1. buy treats.
2. write in my dream diary.
3. sing along to the car radio.
4. spend time outside with cats.
5. wear clothes I ironed yesterday.
6. go to a place I can shut the door & be alone.

I’m grateful that I’ve been keeping a gratitude notebook to include my dream diary & drawings. I’m always grateful for cats & books. I’m grateful my family of origin isn’t worse than what they already are, so far. I’m so grateful for solitude & art. I’m grateful that because of impermanence, everything is possible. I’m grateful for a roof over my head & food in my belly. I’m grateful for drugs. I’m grateful for nature. I’m grateful for this website. Thanks.

I’m grateful I was able to channel some of my anger into shoveling snow this morning. I’m grateful I made the decision not to drive today because the roads are icy. I’m grateful for layering clothes to keep warm. I’m grateful for shelter, solitude, & quiet.

I’m grateful to be getting a small break from the other humans today, a real luxury during these difficult times. Thank you.

I’m grateful I’ve been getting into a rhythm with setting up my workspace. Every day is a different picnic. I’m grateful I’ve been getting into a rhythm with the creation side of my work. I still have yet to make a buck. Money may or may not come with time. I’m grateful I have what I do. It can always be worse.
