I've removed "possible Selective Mutism" from my signature. I've recently found out, from a bit of research, that it's not reportedly possible for the two to co-occur. Also, I believe that my Asperger's syndrome is sufficient explanation for the various communication impairments and oddities I've experienced for so long.... and still do. And probably always will. But it really did seem to mirror SM quite accurately in my childhood.
