It is a possibility. Maybe you should just talk to him about it, and explain to him that he's getting a little out of control about it. And if he won't stop or if he is unreasonable about it, then you should probably take him to the doctor. Oh, and just a side not, make sure he knows he isn't being punished, if you do have to take him to the doctor.
