Hm...that's interesting. Maybe you should try a little harder to break this odd habit, and if you make no progress, and you think it would make you feel better, maybe you should talk to a doctor or therapist that specializes in that kind of thing.

This is definitely a sign of OCD. You should go to a counsellour about it because it is probably something that could be fixed. Are there any other signs of OCD that you have? Take care <3

Ahh your case sounds similar to mine- I very often touch wood to avert a negative thought, sometimes in patterns of three for some reason or other!
