Being Catered to the entire time?

Postby Nanashi » Thu Sep 30, 2010 8:45 pm

I am the female alt (I have to get used to saying it in order not to confuse) of Nanashi. Clearly, DID is diagnosis which also might have OCD applications. Here are some behaviors the original displayed prior to my bieng here.

1) Trimming eyebrows
2) Shaving hair off entire body
3) A complete overall disgust for hair anywhere but on my head
4) Fear of germs by touching someone I think is dirty, and not wanting to eat
after family members (this is a more recent development)
5) Recent interest in organization and cleanliness (believe me, this was
not the case before. He was that messy, though)
6) Straightening of objects not properly aligned

There are other little things which need no real mentioning. I also do not believe I have forgotten anything important. My question is that since none of this was relevant before I became more so aware, does this mean on some level, I was actually pushing this behavior on my original? I think I am fragmented so, I am not fully conscious of everything as of yet. I have been feeling dazed and confused all day.
Hold these thoughts of you close and never forget
In the darkness nothing is clear
Far away, yet in my heart you're near
Let each scar vanish...and believe...forever

Nanashi, I have OCD diagnosed and therefore felt compelled to reply here. I don't believe that there is any pushing - in either direction - of these OCD/behavioural symptoms. Can it not just be that they are part of the original, and that is all there is to it? I'm sure that you - the female alt - have your own symptoms that are unique to you too. Maybe you have a disorder or two that is unique, in addition.

I might be right. I am just confused at the moment. The original is trying to figure things out now so, I will leave him to find the answers.
