Hi everyone, I have been recovering slowly from OCD but there is a lot of things I don’t know.
While having intrusive thoughts or ruminating I don’t feel anxiety, I feel fine while having OCD thoughts while ruminating is this how I supposed to feel? Just not caring about the thought and feel fine ? How am I supposed to know that I don’t want or I don’t like the topic of my obsessions? Does not caring and feeling fine about the thought means I don’t like it ?

If you're afraid of snakes, and you get a job at a snake farm, I figure a person would lose their fear of snakes because they see snakes all day long, yes?
Your OCD fears and obsessions are the snakes. And you spend an awful lot of time with them. That doesn't mean you don't understand they're still snakes, much less love them, or want to jump in a pit with them. It just means you've gotten used to seeing snakes.
Or, as a kid have you ever popped your hand or fingers against something so many times it stops hurting? Well, there you go. After a while, things lose their sting.
