With OCD and SAD and insomnia
I went to see my new phycologist today and we had a very detailed talk about everything and in the end he got down to telling me that its quite obviously i am suffering from these 3 conditions... He doesnt feel i have depression any more and thinks my moods may be changing and im feeling low due to these conditions.... He said he is going to work on these and he is referring me to a phycaraist to get some meds to help with my sleeping and anxity.... He also told me to look up on these conditions to give me a better insight to what i have got....
In a way i feel relieved i know what wrong but also i feel ashamed and gutted!!
Anyone know of any good websites?
hugs xxxx
I just want to be happy!!

Hey,
I'm happy for you that you now know what is 'wrong' (or right

) with you. Regarding web-links, you can start by simply looking at the official diagnostic criteria for OCD, as outlined by the
Diagnostic &
Statistics
Manual (DSM) of the USA:
http://www.mentalhealth.com/dis1/p21-an05.html
You feel ashamed? No, no, no; this is a positive step in your life. Many people would not have even gone to a doctor. OCD might ten begin to consume their lives; making life, 'unlivable'. So, be proud that you have done this.
Take care,
Kevin.
