Anxiety of being arrested by the FBI

Hi everyone I stumbled upon this site because I developed HIV anxiety and saw that their is a forum on here where people were discussing pedophilia and I was shocked. I read a few posts and now afraid of being arrested by the FBI. I just got over OCD and HIV anxiety and now I am in fear of being arrested by the cops. Is this site monitored by the FBI. I am so afraid that I can not focus

Never mind. I researched the laws and reading a few posts and stumbling upon the posts aren't against the law. This site should really remove that forum. It is a trigger and it flared my OCD to the tenth degree. I am still a little shaken up by it.

I'm pretty sure the Alphabet Boys have better things to do than go after people for merely reading discussion that is in itself not illegal content. Child porn is illegal, molestation is illegal; discussion on pedophilia isn't, unless we've got full-on George Orwell now and they're prosecuting Crimethink.

Even so, if you will notice, the Paraphilias forum was closed down four years ago, now, because of abuse of the forum by some of the regulars, there. So it's not even a current thing, anymore, in PF. We no longer allow any paraphilias to be a main topic of conversation- the degree to which it's discussed in OCD is in conjunction with people who are in all probability not pedophiles, obsessing over the fear that they are- which isn't the same thing.

We allowed discussion in a non-judgmental atmosphere, and strictly disallowed anything that would have been illegal content. I've been a moderator for some time now, and I'm not worried about it, neither should you be.

The site owners left the paraphilias forum up as read-only, I'm sorry it triggered you but there are warnings at the top of each page that the subjects are of an explicit sexual nature, some of which may be offensive- some were offensive to me, sure. I personally avoided those subjects, especially after I became a moderator, because I could not be impartial.

They're left so people can still visit who need help, and read what has been discussed in the past, even though they aren't allowed to post on those topics any longer.
