Probably the best explanation of how to beat OCD

Ppl with ocd are in short too sensitive, and the brain reinforces the sensitivity through constant worry. The only way to beat is to cut off the worry pattern consistently for long enough, then symptoms fade. Check out the video this guy explains it thoroughly enough for most worriers. Pretty sure it will help immensley. Watch it all the way through.

P.s confidence is key to dispelling worry and OCD. Rebuild it in yourself by doing what is stated above.

Also this is a research paper from a neuroscientist in which he explains exactly the same thing as the first video i posted. OCD is just an attention disorder. So you have to decide to habitually ignore worries to overcome it.

I broke my rioe and wanted to leave you with one more rule, probably the most important. And that is, stop thinking for a second.

For me when I realized that I was thinking every second (didnt even realize I was) and conciously decided to stop the fear and worry dissipated.

I think somewhere along the way, we became obsessive thinkers, or we already were but not to a dangerous degree. And it it got out of hand. So all of that info in the videos above literally boil down to, "stop thinking all the time".

You dont need to constantly think to function, its sad but me and you guys forgot that simple thing. But now you know so, combining that with voluntarily trusting yourself that whatever worry you had, isnt worth the time because if the human mind goes that deep you will be prone to making small mistakes. And the action of voluntarily not thinking for a while, will let you get over this thing and make life become a lot easier. It worked for me :) Okay bye for real this time lol.
