Whenever I post a photo or post on social media I am typically concerned with the time stamp of when the photo/post was posted. For example if it is the 13th of the month I wait until the 15 to post or if it's the 26 I wait until the 30th to post. If I were to post something on the 17th it would cause me to feel irritated and anxious. I am aware that this worry and anxiety is really irrational and stupid. There are other things that are worth worrying about and this should definately not be on the worry/anxiety list. It just really gets to me and the thoughts keep circling in my mind causing me to worry and become paranoid. I know that other people could care less of when something is posted. They are most interested in the content being posted. It is just me that becomes obssessed on the time stamps shown next to the photo/post. I struggle with perfectionism and I was seeing a therapist earlier in the year for it. I was just too embarrassed to bring up this timestamp issue. I want to know if this is a form of OCD and if there is a way to overcome this pattern of thinking.
