Question about mainstream porn sites. OCD is killing me

Hey, Gay male here. So I have a question about the mainstream pornsites like Pornhub, XVideos, Xhamster, etc. I stick to these pornsites because their content is great and all of their stuff is legal (or so I believed). However, for the amateur tag, how are the ages of the participants verified? Once in a blue moon I'll search teen amateur, and some of the videos look to be of underage individuals. Obviously, there are 18-19 who look young and are underdeveloped, but there doesn't seem to be any way of knowing for sure. Some of these videos have been up for YEARS even. What if I watched one of these videos and unknowingly watched CP and was aroused by it and masturbated to it? I try my best to gauge the ages of those in the videos, but sometimes I don't know and trust my judgement that all CP is removed by Pornhub. I have pretty bad OCD, so this issue is consuming me right now. I would NEVER in ANY way want to look up actual child porn, nor would I EVER want to harm a child. I'm not even into people younger than me. It just seems crazy to me that mainstream porn sites could harbor this stuff for law abiding citizens to unintentionally find, thinking that everyone featured on this site is 18+.

Sites like that don't typically ask for age verification. If you report the porn as being illegal they will likely take it down. Administrators for a site that big, will have a hard time checking every single video however.

Generally speaking, unless someone is working for the site, like the live cams on pornhub and other sites...the site won't ask for an ID. In most sites terms of service it states everyone must be 18+, but unless there is an ID required, it's like that 18+ button you click to get on an adult site. Any age can click it.

At the bottom of the sites you listed (and most sites) you'll find links to legal stuff involving things like content removal. Most have a report button near the video in question as well.

Thought I should add too that section 230 of the Communications Decency Act protects websites from legal action based on content uploaded by third parties. That's the reason porn tube sites get away with not getting in trouble for messed up things like occasional child porn, snuff, bestiality, revenge porn etc.

I sadly don't see it changing until that's amended to force the third parties to prove they are the performers and show both consent and ID.
