really bad intrusive thoughts and how to deal with them

Postby sinhalite » Sat Sep 23, 2017 1:40 am

every time I have a rlly bad episode with intrusive thoughts, the only way I can get them to stop is by self harming. I've tried healthier ways but they don't go away, it's like they get louder and worse. I don't know what to do and I'm scared of myself and what I'll do bc I've hurt my animals and friends before while having intrusive thoughts and I don't wanna lose them. I feel like I can't talk to anyone abt my intrusive thoughts bc the last person I told abt them was my current closest friend and he said he no longer felt safe around me and cut me off.

Seek professional help. There are meds you can be taking to quiet your mind, it really is as simple as that.
