Hi, I'm not sure if I know exactly what "arousal" means (english is not my main language).
What I mean by arousal is that feeling that you like what you see (or hear). Even if you "hate the fact that you like it".
The reason I'm asking this is because, much like most of you, I've tested myself literally thousands of times (with masturbation or just thinking) and very rarely actually got hard or anything, but still felt that "arousal" feeling.
My question is, can HOCD cause this feeling? It feels really real.

Do you speak Portuguese? Your screen name looks Portuguese so I thought you were from Portugal or Brazil. HOCD can cause feelings of arousal, though most would call it fake arousal. It makes you upset because it seems enjoyable, but you don't necessarily like it. I call it a "spike", for instance, seeing an attractive member of the same sex and you don't know whether you like them or if it's your OCD.

Yes I speak Portuguese.
I get those feelings of "fake arousal" towards gay porn. I think they must be fake since masturbating to them doesn't work. But still the feeling haunts me.

That's fake arousal. It's a mental disorder we have not an issue of sexual orientation.
