Clonazepam?

Postby EdgarAllanPoe » Mon May 29, 2017 9:30 pm

Has anybody taken clonazepam? All the psychiatrists and psychologists keep telling me I have OCD but I don't believe them. I keep doubting and I'm convinced I'm a crazy and evil psychopath. I keep panicking so the psychiatrist prescribed me clonazepam to go along with the Cipralex (anti-depressant) I'm
already taking. What does it feel like to take it? Does it do any good?

It's for anxiety. It won't stop the obsessions and intrusive thoughts from getting to your head, but it can help with the anxiety that comes from it.

Its's a benzodiazepine, in the same family as Valium and Xanax.

Overall I like it but it can make you tired. It you drink alcohol or do other drugs it can be a dangerous mix, or simply make you puke.

In smaller doses, it can take the edge off to allow a clearer mind and better concentration. In higher doses, it can go from calming to sedating. Only follow the prescribed dosage and yes, avoid alcohol and other narcotics.
If you don't agree with their diagnosis and treatment profile for you, it is important for them to know that. What issue did you enter treatment for help with?
