Women: Does PMT make your OCD worse?

Just curious if anyone else gets this. I've had a major spike today and just made a post about it. Then, I suddenly remembered that my period is due in a few days. This happens every single month. The OCD gets really bad during the week before.

Just wondering if other women find this and if they have any tips for dealing with it.

Yes, it gets worse some days before I get my period.

usually it doesn't have effect on my ocd. but i think over the past 5 month, my ocd (or anxiety, to be clear) gets worse before and during the period

Well I've had a terrible few days and I started my period today. But I'm not sure if these things are connected. I'm getting married in 10 days so it could be that making it worse, I don't know.

Thanks for your replies. I've done courses in mindfulness and follow medical advice for PMT, but I still feel like a crazy woman for a week out of every month.
