It hasn't made me say anything out loud, but when I'm thinking about stuff it has. For example, I'll be thinking about going to see my friends. Instead of saying in my mind, "I'm going to go see my friends" it could be something like "I'm going to kill my friends." When it happens, I've already been worrying about it earlier and I guess it's in the back of my mind, but slipping up like that makes me worry I could snap at any moment. Has anyone else experienced something like this?

From my experience, yes. But I don't have concrete proof that is the disorder causing it. I've had words replaced in my thoughts even.

I have urges to yell out offensive things sometimes, but I've never done it. I'd be mortified if it ever happened, because it's always homophobic or racist stuff and I'm neither of those things.

So you hear it in your head and you feel the need to blurt it out? Yeah I've had that too.

Yeah, exactly that. Sometimes the urge feels so strong, like I'll explode and shout it out for real. Have you felt like that too? I've never done it though!

My biggest concern right now is that I may have gone a little while without thinking about the obsession and it makes its way into my thoughts. I may be thinking of something and stop for a few seconds to come up with the word I'm trying to use, but I say something I didn't intend to say. I may have been obsessing about it 20 minutes ago, but I had been focusing on something else for awhile. I guess I don't need to be consciously thinking about it for it to be there.

I've never actually said anything out loud. It's only happened when I'm thinking about things. Something like this happened a bit earlier, and when it did I sort of had in the back of my mind right before. I'm guessing this is just typical intrusive thoughts, but I don't know. I've also been analyzing my memories of every thought I had leading up to that, and there are many things I just can't remember, so giving a time limit like 20 minutes is probably very inaccurate.

This might sound really weird, but I do worry about mumbling to myself when I'm in public, such as shopping etc. I have to rub my tongue against the back of my teeth so I know I'm not saying anything out loud! The same with blurting stuff out. I don't know if this is similar, but it's just intrusive thoughts "You're talking to yourself like a mad person." etc etc
