I noticed excessive yawning and sick weakness after a yawn. Do any of you experienced such side-effect? Is it possible that my excessive yawning is caused by Paroxetine?

Hi. I've been on Rexetin (Paroxetine compound, like Paxil):
• 10 days on 5 mg
• 10 days on 10 mg
• 6 days on 20 mg
My yawning is already decreasing actually. I'm noticing increase in my mood. Today I woke up at 6 AM, before my alarm, with strangely high mood. At the university I was just indifferently walking in the hallway and had a slight desire to smile. I was just happy, not extremely excited, I just wasn't depressed as always. I still have some trouble with anxiety near other people or in social groups, It's not a phobia, I just feel a little dizzy and anxious in public places, and it's uncomfortable.

Things like paraxotine can trigger hypomania for me, being bipolar. Celexa/citalopram is much gentler and is good with anxiety. At least it is for me. I don't get on with drugs from the fluoxitine, paroxitine family.
Still, it's early days with your meds. If the anxiety get worse, it might be a good idea talking to your pdoc about alternatives.

I started Citalopram and I don't have this yawning but I feel a kind of restlessness and there are sudden rushes of nausea, I feel like I have to vomit right away and only stays for some seconds.

I'm on Lexapro right now. Is it common to have a slight tired feeling for a couple of days of starting meds until your body is used to it?

It's really common to have fatigue , nausea and to feel a bit weird when you first start these drugs.

I don't. I think it's something with your cerebral pressure, you should visit a doctor.
