You are literally doing exactly what Pure O sufferers do: Seek reassurance, do research and ruminate.
That doubt you feel, that WHAT IF (they are all wrong) is something we ALL have to deal with on a daily basis. That is exactly what OCD does, it causes you to doubt logic and ruminate on things that most people would find irrelevant. I can't count how many times I've poured over forums, OCD sites, OCD chats trying to make absolutely sure I wasn't a psychopath. That's our compulsion.

I've made a long list of quotes of people from this forum suggesting I have OCD. I read it at moments of doubt. I'm guessing this in itself is an OCD thing.
