How so? Confusion is linked to sexuality though isn't it?

Sorry, I am not trying to reach the truth in clinical terms/definition. I was applying it to this situation. That is to say, that sexual fantasies can cause sexual confusion, by distorting the line between that fantasy and reality. At this point (for someone with OCD) the OCD will take up that confusion at turn it into irrational fear and all the things that come with OCD.
It seems most of the HOCD and TOCD cases on this site do not come out of confusion that is born out of fantasies that are being confused. The source of their fear starts in other places, and any thoughts (that are misunderstood as fantasies) of being gay or trans are usually intrusive.

I have nothing to add, Otter said it best.
But, I'm sorry you have to deal with that. I hope that you can get on the right medication and complete CBT or ERP treatment and get some relief. You have my deepest sympathy.
