It's been like 4 days without me having any kind of major spike or anxiety attack or anything of the kind, the thoughts are still there, from time to time pop up, but they vanish really quick, matter of minutes in fact, and then I go on for like a few hours before getting more thoughts like this, hopefully it doesn't come back, but I just thought i'd give some kind of hope to people out there, anyways I'd like to thank the person on this forum who said "It's easier to prove you are something then that you aren't" (or something like this) which made me stop proving myself that I'm not gay, but actually prove myself that I'm straight, which as you can see worked..Around 7 months of this horrible thing and now it's gone..hopefully for good too.

Wish I shared your optimism... But I guess I do agree that it is easier to prove you are something than not something.

It's been around 10 days, so far so good, as I said I still get the thoughts from time to time, but I can easily brush them off, I started being social again, well atleast more then I used to, I can hang out with friends, I was a little scared of some spikes in school, I barely even had the thoughts despite a friend of mine to some extent jokingly "teasing me", but yeah, I think i pretty much beat it.
