Does your OCD come in waves?

Postby RD900 » Thu Oct 23, 2014 11:57 am

Some hours I'm perfectly fine and even the thoughts don't give me too much anxiety and sometimes none at all. (even though they still come) Then some hours it's hell, the anxiety is so high I just want to sleep to get away from it. It usually comes in my dreams then and I get dreams so intense I wake up and it's even worse....

I wish my thoughts came in waves, mine is constantly 24/7; maybe that's why my anxiety is soo darn high.

I heard that it's a good thing when anxiety stops being so high, it's because your mind is just mentally exhausted and needs a break; heard, it's also that you're almost half way there on getting cured as well because you're feeling normal again, it's not because you're turning into your fear, it's because you're almost done with it.

Hell yeah

Everyday is a new surprise sometimes I'll be completely free of anxiety (usually after I accept my fears), some days just complete hell that seems like there's no way I'll get out of this trap, some days it'll just be up and down with the anxiety. I realized accepting your fears or erp really helps almost instantaneously I can even feel the changes in my brain chemistry because it's such a "light switch" reaction. Maybe that'll help the waves good luck
